TammyJo Eckhart, PhD, has been part of the BDSM subculture since the fall of 1990.
She is the author of nine books in a wide range of genres including science fiction,
fantasy, historical fiction, contemporary fiction, and horror.  Her last two books
include the non-fiction, award nominated At Her Feet (2010), co-authored with her slave,
Fox, who has been with her since the fall of 1999, as well as the first book in a
science fiction trilogy entitled Beyond the Softness of His Fur (2011).

She has been a leader in several BDSM groups including the AppleMunch in NYC as well
as the university groups Conversio Virium and Headspace.  She has offered her guidance
to fellow tops and dominants as well as training close to three dozen submissives
over the two plus decades of her conscious and purposeful life in BDSM.

Her widely published article, "BDSM & Feminism: An Insider's View" is routinely cited
by scholars of feminism and BDSM.

Her kinky poly family in the summer of 2011 consists of her husband (since 1992) and
her slave (since 1999) though they are thinking of expanding their household in the
